"Southeastern Business College (SBC) laid the foundation for my career path in Information Technology management.
SBC's curriculum provided me with the knowledge and skills that helped employ me into a computer operator position as IT planning
manager for the State of Ohio.
The staff at SBC was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with my resume, writing skills ...that resume helped me
land my first job after graduation! Beyond the exceptional staff at SBC, it was the small classroom size, which allowed
me to receive individualized attention from teachers. This was particularly impoortant to me at the time as I was going
through a divorce, my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I had two small children to care for at home. Receiving
the extra attention from my teachers helped me through these distractions and kept me on track with my grades. The culture
at SBC , along with hard work and perseverance saw me through to graduation. Thank you SBC for opening the doors of
opportunity for me"
Laura Deal - Statewide IT Planning Manager - Ohio Department of Administrative Services
"... Then I heard about SBC, the school was close to my home and I also had the option of choosing between
morning and evening classes. I really liked the fact that the classes were small; this was a definite benefit for the
students because this left a lot of room for more one on one teaching. I began taking classes in the spring of 1997
and by 1999 I had earned my Associate Degree in Applied Business with a major in Medical Administrative Assistant.
Soon after graduating from SBC, I was offered a position as an Administrative Assistant which doubled my current
pay and after two years of gaining this experience, I began a job at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center working as a Program
Support Assistant, again increasing my salary. I thank SBC for helping me reach my goal. I would not be where
I am today if it had not been for you! THANKS!!
Julie Doles - Program Support Assistant - Veterans Affairs Medical Center

"I began my college education in 1986 as a traditional student at a college in Florida. I only lasted one semester
there anc came back to Lancaster where I was born and raised. I still wanted to get a degree, so I enrolled at Southeastern
Business College. I was working full-time at Bank One and the class schedule was perfect for me. I received my
Associate Degree in Business Administration in 1990. I was the first one in my family to graduate from college.
I have since gone on to Circleville Bible College, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Religion in 2002. My plan
is to get my Master's Degree in Ministry.
Southeastern business College gave me the start I needed. The staff and teachers were so understanding and
skilled at teaching students, many of whom had been out of high school for some time. I am still friends with several
of them and enjoy sharing updates on our lives with them.
Southeastern Business College gave me the confidence I needed to complete my degree and to advance in the business world.
Whatever successes I may be able to achieve, I will owe in part to the experienced I received at Southeastern Business
College. Thank you for all the wonderful things you give to those lives that you touch and know that there are many
of us who are grateful for the gift of knowledge that you have shared."

"One of the most important goals in life was to go back to school and receive a college degree. Almost forty
years later I have accomplished that goal. I was fortunate enought to embark on this 'other chapter' of my life by enfolling
at SBC. I was looking for a school, that at my age, I would be able to still fit in and feel comfortable.
Also one that would offer me classes that I wanted and needed to take that would help me in m career in business.
SBC never let me down in any of those aspects. I will always cherish the friendships I've made with my fellow students
and the always helpful staff. I encourage anyone to consider SBC as their opportunity to further their goals.
My experiences have been both challenging and so rewarding at SBC. Truly a decision in my life that I will never regret."

dedication, understanding and unique teaching to make your learning experience one that you will never want to forget!
Changing your career midstream can be a challenge, but my experience with SBC in the computer software program was done with
professionalism to make it enjoyable and I would recommend SBC to anyone who is interested in changing their career.
SBC has given me more than just an education, it gave me the tools and confidence to go out and change the direction of my
life. The instructors created a very unique and comfortable learning environment, which enable me to feel at ease while
I focused on learning. Thanks to SBC, I have more than a job, I have a career."
